Your local electrician is not just a skilled worker that will replace an outlet , reset a gfi, or fix those flickering lights. We are a vital part of the community that works hard to keep you and your family safe. Electricity is so common, we tend to forget it until there is a power outage. But, in turn, the familarity of this common household item belies it's true depth of service and danger.

G.L. Jeffries started bringing power to rural homes in the 1940's working with the Rural Electrification Association. This was a government backed program to bring electricity to rural homes.
After running the power lines cross country the crew would bring power into your home and the standard package included two lights and 1 power outlet. This was usually installed in the living room for reading and to power the new electric radio. The light in the kitchen allowed breakfast to be pre-pared before the sun came up and actually see what you were eating.
2nd Generation
GL's son George Lee Jeffries Jr. followed in his footsteps early on and learned the trade working with his father. He was a master at wiring complex circuits and his talent for proper and straight wiring installations awed most of his co-workers.
After G.L. Jeffries Sr. rather early death, GL Jr. went on to expand his knowledge and talents. He was fascinated with radio and TV and eventually was recruited by Motorola to develop and test early cell phone systems. All four sons of George Jr. have worked in the Electrical field and two of them are still active.
3rd Generation
GL Jeffries Jr. was my father. I am David Jeffries the Master Electrician and Vice President for Jeffries Electric Inc. The logo you see for our business was designed by a commercial artist in 1983 when Jeffries Electric was organized specificly for electrical repairs and installations. My training early on by my father prepared me for advanced schooling in the Army Security Agency for repair of Electronic and Electrical Equiptment; and to this day I use the best tools and techniques to provide superior service to our customers. Leah Jeffries my wife became our principle shareholder in 2007.
4th Generation
My oldest daughter, Sarah (Jeffries) Terry, the COO, has helped me to wire new homes starting when she was 10 yrs old. For the past 8 yrs she has run the administrative functions of the company and 2 yrs ago took over as operations officer. Our youngest daughter Mary assists Sarah in the daily operations of our office.
We are proud to be a family owned and operated business that you can trust. We hope to be here to serve you now and possibly your children when they own their own home.
